Architectural terrariums designed as living landscapes.
Custom glass gardens, feature-tree terrariums and Japanese-inspired interior landscapes created for villas, offices and hospitality spaces.
Direct answer
What is a bespoke architectural terrarium?
An architectural terrarium is a custom glass enclosure designed as part of an interior rather than as a small decorative object. It can combine feature trees, planting, moss, stone, sand, timber, lighting and carefully composed negative space.
Green Zen designs terrariums around the room, available light, access, scale and maintenance requirements, creating a contained landscape that functions as a permanent interior focal point.
The collection
From intimate glass gardens to room-defining installations.
Feature-tree terrariums
Architectural glass environments built around an olive tree, bonsai or other sculptural specimen.
Zen terrariums
Japanese-inspired compositions using stone, sand, moss, timber and restrained planting.
Reception terrariums
Statement installations designed to create a memorable arrival in offices, hotels and commercial interiors.
Custom interior gardens
One-off glass, joinery and planting concepts developed around unusual architectural spaces.
One studio, complete delivery
Glass, landscape, lighting and detailing considered together.
The success of a large terrarium depends on more than plant selection. Green Zen coordinates the enclosure, access, lighting, substrate, planting, stone, decorative composition and long-term care as one design.
- Custom glass and fabrication
- Feature trees and selected planting
- Stone, sand, moss and natural materials
- Integrated lighting
- Maintenance and access planning
Designed for unused space
Turn an awkward interior void into the focal point.
Terrariums can transform spaces that are difficult to furnish or landscape conventionally. Their contained form allows planting and natural materials to become part of the architecture while maintaining a controlled visual composition.
